b) San Gimignano


The village otherwise known as the medieval Manhatten is located in Tuscany and is famously known for the 14 stone towers. The powerful and wealthy village boasts of having more than 70 towers which were all built to protect the village against its enemies. c) Paestum


The famous ancient Greek town of Paestum ranks amongst the top places to go pay a visit when in Italy. d) The Marmore’s Falls


The Valnerina area found in the region of Umbria is probably one of the most fascinating areas in the whole of Italy. e) Piazza del Campo


Pizza del Campo is highly rated and stands among Europe’s greatest medieval squares. The square is well known for its beauty and architectural integrity. Some of the popular buildings within the Piazza del Campo include; the Palazzo Pubblico with its famous tower and a number of palazzo signorili. The Piazza del Campo hosts a twice per year horse race which is always a beauty to watch.
