A visitor to the square will get the opportunity to witness New York life first hand and from here can buy tickets for all the best Broadway productions or take the kids to visit the huge stores of Toys-R-Us, Hershey’s and M&M.
Another one of the popular attractions in New York is the Metropolitan Museum. One of the biggest, it is considered to house some of the best collects of any museum in the world. Always worth a visit for the first time visitor is the Grand Central Terminal, it is more than just a station, it is a 100 year old statement of magnificent architecture and grandeur. No need to catch a train from here, just go and marvel at the mural on the ceiling as the daily bustle of New York life passes you by. In this “city that never sleeps” Central Park affords a break from the never ceasing crowds and traffic. Not that it isn’t busy, it is just that it is large enough for you to find a tranquil, peaceful spot if you wish. The best way to see Central Park is to rent a bicycle and then follow one of the clearly marked routes. Most of these pre marked tours will take you past Strawberry Fields, the Alice in Wonderland Statue, Belvedere Castle and then over the now famous Bow Bridge.
