As it is probably the best known city in the world, it is no surprise that the tourist attractions in New York are also among the best known in the world. Whether it is the Empire State Building or the Statue of Liberty, sightseeing in New York will always include names you are familiar with.

Some of the top destinations in New York are also considered among the top in the world and so you will never be short of things to see or do whilst you are there.

With so many things to do in New York, you will be spoiled for choice so here are some of them that may be considered as not to be missed:

No need to catch a train, you can spend hours here just exploring this 100 year old icon of New York life. Look at the ceiling Mural, utter in the Whispering Gallery or walk the “secret” elevated passageways to marvel down on the concourse.

Once again New York’s tallest building, the Empire State stands magnificent in the city’s skyline. For perhaps some of the most breathtaking views of the city, visit one of the observation decks on the 86th or 102nd floors.

When in the city that never sleeps, what better get away from the hustle and bustle than Central Park, best seen by renting a bicycle and riding the well marked routes past the Alice in Wonderland sculpture and Belvedere Castle, then over Bow Bridge.
